NEW Capsule Wardrobe Outfit Staples for Spring

I published a new IGTV video today and this time I’m featuring all new outfits staples that would make a great addition to any wardrobe, but especially a capsule wardrobe where versatility is key. These pieces can be worn with so many things and they’re seriously Madewell look-a-likes for under $40!!

Sizing Info

Dress fits true-to-size. I’m wearing a small. Fabric is soft and light-weight. Also nursing friendly! It falls a few inches above the knee so I’m also wearing these beige jockey slip shorts I’ve had for years for added coverage.

Sizing Info

Same sizing as outfit #1 above. Dress comes in gray and red as well. I love how easy it is to layer. The neckline falls a bit low for me so I’m wearing this lace-trim cami underneath. See more details in my Instastory.

Lace cami is true to size. I’m wearing small.

My white leather sneakers are Frye (wearing size 9). They are so easy to clean. Found a similar pair for less ($45) at Nordstrom.

Jumpsuit fits true to size. I’m wearing a small. It also comes in a striped pattern.

Shoes fit true to size. I’m wearing 9. They are SO comfortable.

Sizing Info

Top fits true to size. I’m wearing a small. It fits loosely around the waist so you could potentially size down for a tighter fit, but I like the flowy peplum look.

Jeans are high waisted and run large for me — I found this to be consistent with Universal Thread sizing. If you’re a size 4-6 go with 4. I’m a 2-4 and should have gotten a 2 in these pants (you can see the loose fabric in the crotch and it’s baggy around my waist).

Pants are by Universal Thread and run large (as noted in Outfit #4). If you’re a size 4-6, go with 4. I’m wearing size 2 in these and they fit great.

Overalls are by Universal Thread and sizing is consistent with other Universal Thread pants. I’m wearing size 2 in these overalls. If you’re in between sizes, go with the smaller size.
