Normally, I would save a post like this for my Fit Friday series, but I’ve got transformation on the brain, so I’ll spit out a few of my recent feels about postpartum wardrobes and waiting for that pre-pregnancy body to come back. For me, the coping starts with comfort (hence, the reappearance of these Born wedges—last worn here) and I love a good, loose-fitting dress to help me get my mind off how I wish my body would feel–this dress has a cute babydoll cut to it with a more casual flow (use code FS100 to get free shipping!).
A nice, golden tan also makes me feel like I’m in my pre-preggo bod. I haven’t had a real one in ages so I’m wearing my favorite sunless tanner (see my top three tanning lotions here) and trying to summon positive, laid-back emotions so I don’t get too stressed about the patience this kind of change requires.
So while I look at my recent outfit posts and think about how much better I could look, I’m saying NO to the urge to criticize my appearance and my imperfections. Whether you’ve recently had a baby or not, I hope you’re doing the same. Let’s be examples of self-love and self-acceptance and spread more confident, positive vibes to everyone!

you look awesome – baby or not!
Really positive post and I think you look totally fabulous! I’m in a struggle to recover from a winter of takeout thanks to my senior thesis so I’m well aware of the pain. A comfy, loose fitting dress has been my saving grace. And I really love yours! Happy weekend! 🙂
