I have a confession.

I love jeans and tees. If every occasion accepted it, I would wear only jeans and tees for the rest of my life.

Maybe it’s a reflection of my athletics background when I’d throw on a fresh tee after basketball practice, or my time working in Maui for a color-changing t-shirt company. Either way, I love the low-maintenance, low-demand nature of casual outfits like this. They’re extremely mom-life (and toddler-life) friendly. If messes and spills occur throughout the day, you just swap one tee out for another. Same goes for the jeans (I see you thinking about all those pairs you never wear. I’m drowning in them, too.)

It could be the most versatile outfit you’ve ever owned. All you need are your favorite kicks and you’re ready to head out the door. I have a thing for destroyed denim, but the best part is, any denim will do. It’s the outfit of all outfits if you ask me. No rules, no limits, just functional threads.

Don’t you agree?

  1. This is totally something I’d wear – I have a similar top, similar jeans and the same pair of shoes already. All I need is the choker!
