Fit Friday: 3-week running schedule

This week, I thought this day would never come.
I am excited to be back on schedule with fitness posts and will be sharing more about my routines, tips, etc., each Friday. I’ll even get REAL with you and share my specific goals, challenges and fears. And if you’re on a similar path, maybe we can cheer each other on along the way.
So, today’s post is all about what’s happening in the next three weeks:

The deadline is Sept. 6 because I’m leaving for Maui on Sept. 7. 
The goal includes working out 5-6 times per week, losing 6 pounds and… well, we’ll get to the diet part in next week’s post. 

I finally realized that being more open (and specific) will help me be more accountable to my goals and setbacks–yep, I’ll share those with you, too. Of course, you don’t have to follow my same plan, but if you’ve been looking for a new routine to try or some way to feel more motivated, hop on board with me! I do most of my running on treadmills, and in the coming weeks, I’ll share tips to avoid getting bored on the treadmill, what weight sets/reps I follow, suggestions for cross-training, and more. Most of all, I’m excited to make a transformation–my goal is about getting toned and improving overall fitness. I have no doubt we are all capable of falling in love with our own bodies. And I’ve found it’s not so much the results that get you to that point, it’s the hard work and dedication along the way that show you how capable you are of reaching any and every goal you set for yourself.
Anyway, stepping off the soap box now. Can you tell I’m passionate? đŸ™‚
