I am feeling so grateful for my sister who has been such a support for my fitness goals. We relate to each other on so many levels and had ourselves a little therapeutic, mid-week run on Wednesday. I pretty much threw in the towel that night, but then she came over and we went running at 9:30 p.m. (I’m a scaredy cat when it comes to running at night alone). If it wasn’t for her, I would have accepted my excuses (4 days in a row) for not working out and would be feeling terrible today. But even just one good workout in between my off days makes me feel better than none at all. These are the little victories that become turning points. We have to let ourselves feel good about them even though we know we could have done better. I can tell this is going to be the best weekend reset yet.
My workout progress this week + weekend forecast (pretty good considering Aunt Flo came to town):

Monday AM: 2-mile run
Tuesday: Rest
Wednesday PM: 5.4-mile run
Thursday: Rest
Friday: Rest
Saturday AM: 5-mile run + arm lifts
Sunday AM: 2-3-mile run

I’ll be starting consistent lifting regimens again on Monday with a heavy leg workout. I have a small 10k coming up in eight weeks as well, so my goal is to continue running every day (adding mileage to my weekend runs) and use lifting for extra fat burning (it’s the best recipe for toning).
Peace out, May.
Have a great June weekend!

Amanda

    • Hi Tamar,
I'm wearing a small, but it is a little snug through the shoulders. It doesn't bother me, but if you're in between sizes, I would size up. 😉 You'll love this top!
