Aside from the fact that it’s snowing right now (luckily it’ll be 70 again on Saturday), we have been seeing some great weather here this spring. I’ve already begun transitioning my wardrobe with accessories, sandals and lighter knits, anticipating the warmer months ahead. Nordstrom Rack has always been one of my go-to stores when I get that in-between-seasons itch (and pretty much anytime I have a shopping itch) for a good deal. From designer handbags to new sandals and shoes, or just a great pair of jeans, I am always a bit giddy when I walk away with an entire outfit (such as the one I’m wearing above) without completely breaking the bank. And that’s not easy to do with items from top brands like Kate Spade and Michael Kors.

When transitioning my outfit for warmer months, I love a simple, wear-with-everything knit top, a quality pair of denim jeans (including denim shorts!), wedge sandals (I’m obsessed with wedge sandals this year) and a statement bag/tote. I’m a big fan of bright colored totes for spring and summer, but Nordstrom Rack always has great ‘staple-item’ bags that are neutral and it takes me at least 30 minutes to make up my mind on which one I need more (#firstworldproblems). The warmer the weather, the bigger my bag tends to be… an easy way to keep the swim suit, towel and sunscreen handy.
