Autumn always makes me excited for change. A new haircut? Sure! A yummy new candle? Don’t mind if I do. This year is especially exciting because of everything I’m learning from Lauren about beauty. I love feeling confident and honestly, sometimes beauty products make me believe I have an “it” factor. Like the girl who has it all figured out and put together. Not to mention, my list of gift ideas for gal pals is already overflowing (thanks to Lauren).

Since we’re both a little obsessed with Autumn, we wanted to share our excitement and get you energized to add some new products to your beauty bag. Check out Lauren’s 5 Autumn Beauty Faves below (let me tell you, that lip balm in Salted Caramel is calling my name!).

This baby comes with me everywhere. It’s light but still packs a significant amount of moisture. It’s ultra-hydrating but never greasy and absorbs quickly. The fragrance is light and slightly fruity, but not overwhelming. Seriously, this is my number one autumn companion.
This is the perfect palette. It’s cooler in tone than the original, but I actually prefer these shades even though I generally reach for the warmer shades. They’re highly blendable and you can create dramatic or very neutral looks — it’s incredibly versatile. All shades are matte (save for one with a very subtle satin finish that’s perfect for highlighting) and super velvety.
This lip balm is heavenly. The fragrance is a perfect mixture of sweet cream, sea salt, caramelized sugar and toasted vanilla bean. It keeps your lips satiny and smooth. Enough said.

Nars Blush in Sin

The perfect berry blush. This blush is hyper-pigmented (a little goes a long way), and it’s the perfect warm shade for autumn. The slight gold shimmer paired with the berry color (and a hint of purple, I swear) makes for the best blush of the season.

MAC Lipstick in Rebel

Don’t let the color in the tube frighten you, you can wear this classic jewel tone sheer as one swipe or buildable as a brighter berry shade. You can easily change the look of this lipstick up by varying the lip liner, too. Right now, I’m obsessed with a little MAC Nightmoth Lip Pencil underneath a sheer swipe of Rebel for that “just a tad vampy” look.
